About me

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist, fully trained EMDR practitioner and clinical supervisor. In addition to my private practice, I facilitate regular personal developement groups, and I teach on the Counselling Diploma at Re-Vision Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy in London.

I have a particular interest in working with shame, traumatic bereavement and life transitions. I see the potential for moments of crisis to become gateways to soul, to a fuller and more meaningful life. and a deeper connection to self.

It's important to me that clients can bring all of themselves into the therapy space. Sometimes this can mean having an awareness of the wider socio-political and socio-cultural realities that have shaped our lives, and those of our ancestors- including naming power, oppression and discrimination.

I have lived and worked in East London, Ireland, East and Southern Africa and India. I bring to the work my identity as a white, Irish cis gender woman, and a commitment to deep respect and non-defensive curiosity in approaching the many identities we bring to the work.

My hope is that therapy can be a place of collaborative and healing exploration.

My name is pronounced 'Eefa'
